 On
Saturday, March 17th, IAC Chapter 52 will sponsor an awards banquet to present the first
annual Kathy Jaffe Volunteer Award to Ray and Lois Rose.
It will be held at the Saddle Brook Marriott (located on Rt
80 and the Garden State Pkwy) beginning at 7:00 pm.
The Kathy Jaffe Trophy will be at the banquet, allowing
those who contributed to the trophy fund the opportunity to see it before it is sent to
the IAC pavilion in Oshkosh, Wis., where it will be on permanent display.
 Budd Davisson, noted aviation writer and author,
will be our guest speaker. Among his many other accomplishments, Budd has written the
definitive book on the Pitts Special, and the recent best selling novel COBALT BLUE.
This is shaping up to be an exceptional evening. With all
of Kathy's friends, those of us who want to honor Ray and Lois, and with Budd as the
speaker, we expect a big turnout. Please plan on coming!
The cost of the dinner is $40 per
person.
