2006 Kathy Jaffe Challenge : Known Flights, Beach Club Party

Friday brought great weather, early practice, and lots of new arrivals. All assembled for the 2pm briefing. At the end of the day we had achieved the known flights for Intermediate, Advanced, and Unlimited.

Recruiting Unlimited pilots can be a challenge in the Northeast. Dennie Thompson has been flying Unlimited for a year, now. Charles Schumacher from Chapter 35 has prepared for Unlimited and will fly his first contest in category here at the Kathy Jaffe.

Advanced pilot Kendal Simpson put some work into practicing negative snaps before the contest, flew the known, borrowed a free, and signed-up for all the fun.

Evening found us at the Tiki Bar for the Beach Club party.
