Contact Robert Marsicano at mars5887@yahoo.com or call him at 203-948-8635

The earlier you sign up the better we can organize this for you and plan your critiquing.

If you are attending as a judge for points we need to know you are attending no later than the 18th of May for planning purposes.

Saturday Critique Camp:

Pilots will be assigned into groups of five according to competition category and training expected. These training groups will participate in an hour of ground instruction prior to your flights in the box with your assigned judge. Each pilot will then go out and spend 10 minutes in the box executing in the air, what they discussed during the ground instruction.

The morning session will run from 9:00 to 1:00 and the afternoon session will run from 1:00 to 5:00. This will allow us to offer 4 training groups or 20 slots in the morning and 4 training groups or 20 slots in the afternoon. Each slot will cost $40 and you can only purchase one slot per session.

5:00 to 7:00 the box is reserved for participating Judges and organizers to get some critique and practice at the end of the day.

Sunday Mock Competition (Mental Training)

Now is your chance to put your practice from Saturday to the test in a real contest environment as well as practice the mental aspect of flying contests. There will be no critique; your only feedback will be based on your score sheets from the judges at the line! Briefing is at 9:00 Box is open at 10:00 until 2:00.

For pilots that participated in the Saturday training, Sunday entrance fee is $10. For pilots just showing up for the Sunday contest training, entrance fee is $20.

You’re Chapter Fundraiser

So why come out and join us? To create a greater incentive for pilots and judges to participate, we are going to split any surplus after costs among the participating chapters.

So as a competitor you not only get quality critiquing, you get to practice in a competition environment, you get feedback from the judges that will be scoring you this season, you also get to give back to your chapter at the same time.

For every competitor that each chapter sends, that chapter will get 1 point per competitor for each day they participate. If a competitor submits an Unknown Sequence for their category, they get 1 point for their chapter.

So why come out and join us as a judge? To create greater incentive for judges to come out train and critique competitors, we are going to split any surplus after costs among the participating chapters based on the number of judges each chapter sends to participate. For every judge that your chapter sends, that chapter will get 2 points, 3 points for a National Judge.

At the end we will tally the total points. The surplus will be divided by total points to determine what each point is worth. Then we will donate to each participating chapter the point amount times the number of points they earned through participation.
